英文药名：Tinidazole

药理作用：
本品为抗原虫药，疗效比甲硝唑高4-8倍，对滴虫、阿米巴原虫、贾第鞭毛虫等有很好的抗菌作用。本品对大多数厌氧菌有强大的抗菌作用，其中包括脆弱拟杆菌、梭状芽胞杆菌、真杆菌、梭形杆菌、阴道嗜血杆菌、消化球菌、消化链球菌、韦荣球菌等。
本品口服吸收良好，2小时达血药峰浓度。单次口服2g，血药峰浓度可达40-51μg/ml，24小时的浓度为11-19μg/ml，72小时的浓度为1μg/ml，半衰期为12小时，尿中排出的原形药物约占给药量的25%，12%以代谢物形式由尿排出。少量随粪便排出。血清蛋白结合率为12%。能进入各种体液，并可通过血脑屏障。
 
临床应用：用于治疗厌氧菌引起的系统感染，及腹部外科、妇科手术的厌氧菌感染的预防。也用于治疗妇科阴道厌氧菌感染，急、慢性阿米巴痢疾和阿米巴肝脓疡。
 
不良反应：有消化道不适、恶心、厌食、腹泻等，偶有头痛、疲倦。也可发生皮疹、瘙痒、血管神经性水肿，有的病人可发生神经系统的轻微症状，停药后可自行恢复。偶有白细胞及血小板减少。 

制剂规格：片剂0.25g，0.5g，1g；胶囊剂0.25g。注射液200ml：0.4g，200ml：0.8g；250ml：0.4g，250ml：0.8g；200ml：替硝唑0.4g、葡萄糖10g，100ml：替硝唑0.2g、葡萄糖5g。 

注意事项 
(1)妊娠初3个月内孕妇、乳母和肝病患者慎用。
(2)治疗贾第鞭毛虫、阴道毛滴虫的剂量为2g，顿服。
(3)有血液病史及器质性神经系统疾患史者慎用。
(4)服药期间禁止乙醇类饮料，因可发生双硫仑样反应，表现为颜面潮红、脉搏加快、呼吸困难、斑疹等，继之面色苍白、恶心、血压下降、心悸、心律不齐等。
(5)对阿米巴包囊作用不大，宜加用杀包囊药物。

About tinidazole
Tinidazole can be used to treat a variety of infections including gynaecological and dental infections. It is also sometimes used alongside other drugs to treat Helicobacter pylori (a bacterium which causes stomach ulcers).

It works by killing anaerobic bacteria and protozoa that cause infections. Anaerobic bacteria are ones that do not need oxygen to grow and multiply and protozoa are one-celled organisms that cause infections.

Before taking tinidazole

Before taking tinidazole make sure your doctor or pharmacist knows:
•If you are pregnant, trying for a baby or breast-feeding.
•If you suffer from liver problems.
•If you suffer from porphyria (a blood disorder).
•If you have a dependency on alcohol.
•If you have a disorder of the central nervous system or epilepsy.
•If you are taking other medicines, including those available to buy without a prescription, herbal or complementary medicines.
•If you have ever had an allergic reaction to this or any other medicine.

How to take tinidazole
•Before beginning treatment, read the manufacturer's printed information leaflet.
•Take your medication exactly as directed by your doctor.
•You must take tinidazole at regular intervals and complete the course you have been given. If you stop taking these tablets too soon your symptoms may return.
•Swallow tinidazole tablets whole with a drink of water during or after a meal. Do not chew or crush the tablets.
•Try to take tinidazole at the same time each day to avoid missing any doses.
•If you forget to take a dose, take one as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up. If in doubt, speak to your pharmacist or doctor.

Getting the most from your treatment
•Important: do not drink alcohol while you are taking tinidazole and for 3 days after finishing the course. Note: some cough and cold preparations contain alcohol. Your pharmacist can advise you which preparations to avoid.
•If you are having any treatment like an operation or dental treatment, tell the person carrying out the treatment which medicines you are taking.
•If you buy any medicines, check with a pharmacist that they are safe to take with your other medicines.

Can tinidazole cause problems?
Along with their useful effects all medicines can cause unwanted side effects, which usually improve as your body adjusts to the new medicine. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist if any of the following side effects continue or become troublesome.

Important: If you experience jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes), unexplained bruising or bleeding or skin rash, speak with your doctor immediately or go to your local accident and emergency department without delay.

If you experience any other symptoms which you think may be due to this medicine, speak with your doctor or pharmacist.

How to store tinidazole
•Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
•Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat and light.

Important information about all medicines
•Never take more than the prescribed dose. If you suspect that you or someone else has taken an overdose of this medicine, go to the accident and emergency department of your local hospital at once. Take the container with you, even if it is empty.
•This medicine is for you. Never give it to other people even if their condition appears to be the same as yours.
•Never keep out of date or unwanted medicines. Take them to your local pharmacy which will dispose of them for you.
•If you have any questions about this medicine ask your pharmacist.
